Remedial Massage
Remedial massage holistically treats
the body. The therapist identifies the original biomechanical dysfunction, thus healing the cause of the disorder, as well as the symptoms.

Swedish Massage
The most common kind of massage therapy. Swedish massage uses smooth gliding strokes called effleurage. This technique promoted relaxation and improves blood flow and oxygens access to your body.

Sports Massage
A type of Swedish massage that stimulates circulation of blood and lymph fluids. Some sports massage movements use trigger point therapy to break down adhesions (knots in the muscles) and increase range of motion.

Hot Rock Massage
A variation on classic massage therapy. Heated smooth, flat stones are placed on key points on the body. The massage therapist may also hold the stones and use them to massage certain areas of the body.

Relaxation Massage
This is essentially the same as a gentle Swedish massage that uses smooth, gliding strokes. The primary purpose however is to simply help you relax, and the massage therapist will move as a slower pace and use very light pressure.
